During the war, a special railway line ran from Wolfheze to Airport Deelen. Initially intended for the supply of building materials for the bunker Diogenes. Later it was also used to supply the airport. That is why it was called soon popularly "the bomb line".
The locomotive used at the time was called SIK. One SIK was recently acquired by the museum and is now stored in a barn of a neighbouring farmer, pending restoration.
